First off get all your pieces out and make sure they are all there. There should be enough floss to do two cards but if not it is dmc 1310 available at most craft stores for 29 cents.
Begin by cutting your thin white strip to look like snow I left this for you to do so you can make it look like how you want. Next position the buttons to look like a snowman. Leave a little space at the top for his top hat. Next bust out the paper piercer and punch a hole for each button hole and make holes to form stick arms for the snowman. Again I left this up to you to allow for artistic freedom.
Now you will want to separate your floss removing two strands of floss (there are six in each string) Begin sewing on your buttons and tie the sting on the back or tape it down (this actually works best on thinner paper) after you are done attaching the buttons move on to the arms and sew them on. Look he is starting to look like a snowman already.
Now that you got your needle warmed up its time to sew ric racs on that long blue piece I was nice enough to punch holes for you this time around so have at it.
Now after it is all sewn you can attach it to the card. I did it this way so that you wont be able to see the stitching on the inside of the card.
now that the hard part is all done you can attach the snowman on the white square. I chose to ink the edges in my example. But that is up to you. Also add the top hat.
Now put it all together. put the blue snowflake on the white circle and place the snow man and snowflake where ever you like. I like the little tilt look.
Tada all done and ready to send out. Enjoy.
